The Isle of Wight offers golden beaches, forests and open meadows as well as gardens and historic sites. Carisbrooke Castle is a majestic medieval ruin. Osborne House, near Cowes, was built as Queen Victoria's country retreat. Yarmouth is a seductive port with narrow lanes and stone quays. Walking highlights include a path through Afton Nature Reserve, along an old railway line, and along the coast climbing through woodland to the Neolithic Long Stone. 2024 Classic Walking Holidays operate weekly starting Saturdays from April through October.
