Where we Stay:
spend six nights in the beach town of Tolo located on the Peloponese
peninsula of mainland Greece (about two hours from Athens). Originally a small fishing
village, the town
retains its traditional Greek charm. Built around the curve of a
sheltered bay, Tolo has a long sandy beach with good swimming. A tempting
array of cafes and tavernas line the beach and there are more restaurants
and shops in the town.
The 4 star King Minos Hotel features stunning panoramic views of
Tolo Bay. For those who want to swim, the beach is only 100 metres from the
hotel or guests can enjoy a dip in
the large outdoor pool.
Seaview rooms have a balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and hairdryer.
Breakfast is a buffet. In the evenings we dine at a
variety of restaurants so you can enjoy traditional Greek specialties with always a choice of main course. Wine with dinner is included.
On our September holiday we spend the final night at the Hotel Philippos
