In Avignon we stay one night (the final night) at the Hotel
Mercure Pont d' Avignon.
It is a four star hotel within the medieval
walls of the old city. Rooms
are air conditioned and have TV. Bathrooms
are equipped with hair-dryers. The hotel is a 15 minutes by taxi to the TGV
Breakfast is a buffet with fresh croissants, cereals and milk, toast,
yoghurt, fruit salad, eggs, home-made jams, coffee or tea and fruit juices.
In Isle-sur-la-Sorgue breakfast can be taken on the outdoor patio.
Lunch (not included) is usually a picnic and we shop at a market
or grocery store before heading out for the day. A usual picnic consists of a fresh baguette with cheese, cold
meat, fruit and perhaps a little wine.
Dinners are three
course menus at a variety of nearby restaurants . Drinks are not included
(except on the final night). Our farewell dinner is taken
at a restaurant within the old city of Avignon. If you are vegetarian or have food allergies please let us know in advance.
