Travel to Provence
From various cities in North America there are flights to Nice. Sometimes the flights are direct and some require a change of plane. From Montreal there are direct flights. If you prefer to fly to Paris you can then travel by train from Paris to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (via Avignon). The holiday ends in Avignon. From here there are trains to Marseille (1 hour) or Paris (3.5 hours) Train schedules can be seen on the French Rail web-site www.sncf.fr. Tickets can be ordered from www.raileurope.com/canada or Teachers Travel can order these tickets for you. If you would like to continue to another week of walking in Languedoc there is a direct train from Avignon to Collioure. |
