Walkers' World
Guided Rambling Holidays in
Provence, France

2017 dates
Sept 16 - 23
From our base in the pretty Provencal town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue we explore sun-drenched countryside and historic villages.  Our rambles include beautiful villages like Gordes and flower-filled St. Rémy where Van Gogh painted many of his masterpieces. We walk on trails through vineyards whose names sound like a wine list in a great restaurant. After a spectacular walk in the Alpilles we reach the fabled medieval castle of Les Baux. Our non-walking day takes us to the town of Arles with its Roman arena where gladiators once fought. On our final night in Avignon we see the legendary bridge and the spectacular Papal Palace.

About Walkers World Provence Rambles:
walking week is a "two-centred" holiday. For six nights we return to the same hotel in the small town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and spend our final night in the historic city of Avignon. Using private coaches to begin and end most walks enables us to explore the best parts of this beautiful region. Walking whets the appetite so to enjoy French cuisine we dine at a different restaurant each night.
